On the seventh day of Christmas South and Finsbury brings to you …….

six great ideas for the man and men in your life!  A sigh I relief I hear, they always present a little challenge don’t they. Not so bad if you have $500 to spend, anyone can pop out and buy a gadget. But hopefully the ideas below are food for thought and give you a little bit of inspiration as well as a very happy chappy to boot  :).

  • Food glorious food 🙂

Trade aid hampers, they have 3  pre made sizes

small-$19.99 – medium-$39.99* size pictured above – Large-$79.99

Whilst this is a great idea, its also worth popping on to their website to see the items they sell individually,  a tailor make a hamper for the chef, the coffee drinker, the spice lover etc

There are stores dotted through out New Zealand too, so pop in and have a look around.

  • Magazine subscription

BACHARI MENSWEAR -BROADWAY PALMERSTON NORTH

Great to have another menswear store – they are great staff and carry a great range including LTB, YD, Cutler & Co, DEACON and more

Deacon T shirts 2-$80, great price 🙂

  • Grooming – skincare Kits

untitled skin

As with women’s skincare ranges, there are a number of companies that have their own dedicated men’s range. Again, a great time to buy as you are usually paying for just one product but usually get at least two or three extra products thrown in, usually slightly smaller in size than the original.  Brands to check out include,

L’oreal, Clarins and Clinique and Trilogy

  • Chill out kit

This is my version of creating a kit that is tailor made for the man you love. Great if you are on a budget. Get a empty box and wrap it, pop in tissue paper then start choosing ……

a single copy of a magazine or two, a craft beer or two or a nice bottle of wine, a favourite chocolate  bar or chocolates, chips and a gourmet dip, a cd ,you get the picture 🙂

You can spend as much or as little as you want.

  • Aftershave

An oldi but a goody, every year we are bombarded with new fragrances  🙂 some a lot better than others !

a new release for 2013, I love the bottle 🙂

untitled as

Paco Rabanne – Invictus 100ml $126

Heart Notes-Bay Leaves

Top Notes – Grapefruit Peel, Marine Accord

Base notes – Guaiac Wood, Patchouli, Amber Gris Accord

Scent-Woody

So I hope this has been useful.

Tomorrow, I will be featuring 5 stunning makeup palettes 🙂

Enjoy 🙂

great ideas here for the difficult to shop for … mine loves Deacon so thanks for the tip on t-shirts ..

… I also find fathers a really difficult punter to pull out of the Christmas hat – I think the hampers would be great but maybe another post (around fathers day 🙂 ?!?) for the 60+ male group if you have any fabulous ideas S&F …
