Lets go naked !

Urban Decay Naked palettes, anyone who knows makeup knows about these. They have an iconic status and with good reason 🙂

Before I tell you about their latest launch, naked 3 let me introduce you or remind you about basic, 1 and 2

Naked Basics

untitled basic

A matte palette, featuring six gorgeous neutrals to wear alone or use to combine and blend. I love this as you don’t normally get matte products in a palette, these really are your perfect  day to-night basics.

Venus is a soft, off-white demi-matte, Foxy is a cream bisque matte, Walk of Shame is a very light nude matte, Naked2 is a taupe matte, Faint  is a warm, dusty brown matte and Crave is a deepest, darkest brown/black matte.

This palette contains twelve new rose-hued neutrals, ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls and glimmering metallics. This also comes with a sample of the Urban Decay eye primers, comes with a double ended brush and mirror and the metal case is rose coloured.

Strange is pale neutral pink matte-satin, Dust is a pale metallic pink shimmer w/iridescent micro-glitter, Burnout is a light pinky-peach satin, Limit is a light dusty rose matte, Buzz is a metallic rose shimmer w/silver micro-glitter, Trick  is a light metallic pinky-copper shimmer w/tonal micro-sparkle, Nooner is a medium pinky-brown matte, Liar  is a medium metallic mauve shimmer, Factory is a pinky-brown satin, Mugshot is metallic taupe shimmer w/slight pink shift, Darkside is a deep taupe-mauve satin and Blackheart is a smoky black matte w/rosy red micro-sparkle.

I love the basics range , I love the simplicity and I like matte shadows, I also like the original  Naked palette. I will soon be having a look at 3 and will keep you posted at what I think.

Urban Decay is not sold in retail stores in NZ, personally I would avoid trademe as I think the prices are too high.

US prices  start at $28   for the basics and $52 for the twelve shadow palette.

UK prices start at 22 pounds for the basic and 37 pounds for the twelve shadow palette.

Trade me prices start at  $65 for the basics and the twelve shade palettes retail for over $110 (too steep for me but keep an eye out you might get it cheaper)

Other NZ stockists are also overpriced with the twelve shadow palette retailing for $120

These products are not available on Strawberry net

So I have done the donkey work for you and the following is the cheapest supplier at the moment with free international postage, prices are in Australian dollars but with the exchange rate at the moment it is pretty good for us 🙂

Beauty bay here
